floyd is just thinking where else is guerrerro going to make 2.5mm?

because he certainly is not going to make 4mm fighting anyone else.

also, if he loses, there goes the 2.5 mm. berto knows something about that and so does canelo(why hes demanding a fight with floyd before fighting trout or any other ranked jmw).

floyds a damn good businessman, something some of you guys will never be. him making 30 mm has absolutely nothing to do with him leaving an additional 1.5mm on the table. and since floyd loves to gamble, who says he doesnt have a couple grand with one of his buddies on how low he can get rg to go? as a fellow gambler, let me tell you that this is a distinct possiblity.

and if you dont like who he fights, dont pay for his ppv.

im not happy with floyd/guerrero but robert is a ranked ww and a interim belt holder so there is nothing you can do.

Sounds about right especially if Ghost is making 3x his previous high.

but rg won't make 2.5 mill right now unless he's fighting floyd and he won't get paid 4 mill fiighting anybody else.

The Ghost is the most viable opponent for Floyd on Cinco De Mayo for these reasons:
-FLoyd gets mandatory taken care of

-Much better PPV because everyone wants to witness an upset

-Mexican fans will buy any ppv with mexican fighters

    - A bigger overall payday than Devonca ever bring on Cinco De Mayo.

People on here have already addressed the two biggest questions Guerrero is facing when negotiating a fight with Mayweather, is it about the money or the opportunity. Do you pit more stock in the opportunity to hand Mayweather his first loss, and accept the 2.5, or do you risk losing the opportunity by sticking to your demand or counter offer of 4 mil? If I'm Guerrero I take the 2.5 and the opportunity.....but I'm not.

Rob is gonna regret not taking the 2.5!! Didn't Winky turn down 7 mil or something like that for a re-match with Taylor? These clowns need to take the money when they can get it!!!!!!!

i would stick to my guns. who else is floyd willing to fight at 147 that will give him the numbers robert can give him? roberts stock isnt going to drop because floyd passes on him, he will still remain a legit name at welter and even if floyd loses to someone at 154, robert will still be at the top of the list at 147, the list of fighters floyd would take a chance against anyway. sooner or later floyd will play ball.

Floyd will vacate, and the purse split of 25/75 can go to hell.

Then a sanctioning body (IBF WBA WBC or WBO) will show up and put a Trinket they will invent on the event just to have their name on there.

Floyd doesn't give a **** about belts or titles, Mosley-May did great PPV numbers and I can't recall what title was on the line..

    :huh

Exactly. If you think Floyd will have purse terms dictated to him simply because of a belt you're insane.
