I highly doubt he is on the card but even without Broner GBP is still footing a bill WAY WAY higher than they would be for Mares/Donaire. It's not a comparable situation.

Second rate you do know Alexander resume shits all over Guerroro/Canelo not to mention he has a strap and is his natural weight class.......

But 4 million is fair considering Bradley got 5 million to fight Pacquiao, when he not a draw Mexican or nothing. Mayweather is simply posturing who knows how much money could make and how much his ppv sells with Manny getting brutally ko'ed, a lot of casual fans may not care for Mayweather anymore, not to mention pac fan boys probably won't care to buy to see Floyd lose........

There is so much you have to factor into these negotiations, everybody just needs to sit back and wait Floyd was supposed to face Matthew Hatton, Paul Spadafora, Eric Morales, Paulie Maggnagli in the last 2 years, just wait and see how things play out

    Murder Berto

Jump a **** load of weight classes, and still do awesome. Four million is nothing for Floyd he is just being a petty diva. When he is gonna make the majority of the winnings, and Guerrero is gonna pull in the Chicano and Mexican fans, from all over California to this one. So say what you want business wise, Guerrero is worth it. When you add up how much money is gonna be made and spent and on who

IMO Floyd posturing up has nothing to do with Guerrero, it's obviously JMM or Canelo who's price he's trying to knock down

Is Alexander even a welterweight yet?

There just aren't that many fights left out there for someone like a Mayweather. He let most of them go by and now he's 36 years old, trying hard to pick easy fights that will, at the same time, justify him making 40 million dollars. His popularity is actually working against him in a way.

i dont fault floyd for doing this, after all, maximizing profits is the name of the game. by the same token, i dont fault robert for wanting his share of the big ass pie. if floyd thinks he can pull in the same ppv numbers with someone that will take 2.5 million, then get to it and stop selling wolf tickets.

He's not doing the same numbers with Alexander on Cinco de Mayo.

    No way.

    What?!?!?!

I don't get how you are hating on this cat, but are cool with Margarito. I don't like dudes from Salinas, Watsonville, Gilroy and San Jose neither, but he's been doing his thing, apart from that he has been going through alot of **** with his wife's illness.

After whipping Berto's ass I think he deserves this Mayweather fight. I just don't get how Mayweather is being petty about 1.5 million, when he spends that much in on a weekend bender shopping for Jewelery and Clothes.

Or he could pay 2.5 million to Alexander, do equivalent numbers and keep that 1.5 million

For the last time, Guerrero doesn't put asses on seats, Cinco De Mayo or not.

Alvarez/Mayweather are the attractions, not ****ing Guerrero.

Guerrero jumped from 135 to 147 and did great, sure. But no one knows his ass. And you can take that to the bank

Like seriously, who besides his 200 fans in Gilroy KNOWS HIM and would be willing to put $70 down to watch him fight? No one. No one on this site would pay $70 to watch that bum . No one in their right minds would pay $70 to watch him, he's a lying dirty fighter.

    He lies about his accomplishments
    Fights dirty as hell
And hasn't done much to warrant a 4 million dollar payday.
Hasn't shown the ability to beat Floyd. As far as I'm concerned, he has just as much of a chance at making the upset as Alexander.
Sure he's more exciting to watch than Alexander, but this guy still gets CRUSHED.
