Exactly, its not like Berto really did a damn thing in this sport, who has he beaten? Lets take a closer look at Berto he was dropped and IMHO beat by featherfisted Luis Collazo, he got dropped and beat by Victor Ortiz and was dropped and beat by Guerrero.

there is nothing you can actually take from the berto wins to even come close to saying this is going to be a tough fight. other than Berto who has Guerrero beat? Aydin? give me a break already and even then he had a difficult time with Aydin.

I just do not see this as a good match I see this as a showcase match nothing more.

Nearly all of Cotto's good body shots was laded when Floyd was near or on the ropes

 

Being on the back foot worked for Miguel for about one round. Next round Floyd immediately replies by outboxing him in the center again forcing Cotto to resume his come forward role

 

Floyd walks in with a high guard against Southpaws. How exactly is that right hook going to deter him, especially when Guerrero doesn't have fight changing power?

And Guerrero doesn't "switch modes" as you say. He has two, mauler/spoiler and boxer. When one doesn't work, he goes for the other (Siri fight). If what he's doing works, he sticks with it (Katsidis fight).

I dont think Mayweather would come into the ring with utter disrespect for Guerrero power like he did Cotto's, and being that the Ghost is a south paw I dont see Floyd sitting on the ropes that much

Stop with your revisionist ****. There were plenty of people on the fence about the Berto/Guerrero fight. The main difference is that most thought Berto was too strong a puncher. Ortiz beat Berto in more impressive fashion and didn't end up looking like Quasimodo afterwards, to do it.
