Guerrero will give Mayweather his toughest fight in several years

This is Guerreros moment. He has a lot of built up anger nd geniuine animosity towards Floyd, recently quoted as saying he is going to show Floyd how to treat women and also wanting to silence the haters and finally get his just-due. In this interview you can see Guerrero get visibly worked up as he talks about how the fans dont give respect or respond to a man who loves God and takes care of his family. The Ghost has the skillset, the youth, the desire and hunger, the right timing and a great team to pull off the upset.

Prior to the Berto fight, Guerrero points out that Berto has never faced a lefty like him and that Ortiz is one-dimensional, has poor footwork, is very stiff and does the same thing over and over, not being able to change styles. I agree. Guerrero is very well polished and can do all the things someone like Ortiz cant.

Hes not going to pressure Floyd like he did Berto. He fought like that vs Berto because it worked. Floyd will be right in front Guerrero all night, at mid-range, trying to get past the jab and right hook of Guerrero. He'll have the same trouble as he did vs Judah early except The Ghost can close the gap and ambush Floyd, start turning him and back out again or stay inside if hes having more success. This wont look anything like Guerrero vs Berto

Floyd is a slow starter. Every fight it takes him at least 4 rds before he starts taking over. Cotto was able to show different looks, boxing, counterpunching and muscling Floyd to the ropes. Guerrero will do the same thing. There are a lot of characteristics Guerrero posseses that several of Floyds recent opponents did not possess. Guerrero being tactically shut out is unlikely i think. I think Floyd will have to fight through Guerreros tactics rather than outwit or outbox him. His reflexes and speed wont bail him out either. He'll likely outslug, outmuscle Guerreros with his accuracy and superior inside fighting and general toughness.
