I noticed a lot of people acting like Guerrero is a bum. This obviously mainly from mayweather haters.

But the fact is at 140 Guerrero would beat rios, Alvarado, khan, Peterson, Ortiz, Garcia and yes matthyse.

At 147 he would beat brook, Alexander, malignagi, berto, thurman. The only guys I'm not 100 percent sure about is Bradley.

Both PAC and Marquez beat him.

Floyd has already beat Marquez. PAC just got knocked out. And Bradley just went life and death with a guy that was suppose to make him look good.

Apart from moving up to 154 to fight a 170 pound Canelo this is a legit fight regardless of who u see winning the fight.

In conclusion as part of this 6 fight deal floyd has not only changed trainer but also selected a top 5 WW to mark his return.

Not bad for a cherry picking coward hey?

No one said he's a bum, he's just too inexperienced for Mayweather. Compared to Mayweather's experience and level, he might look like a bum in the fight. In addition to that, this is his third fight at welterweight after a move from lightweight.

In 2 of his WW fights he had looked quite comfortable at the weight against big WW. No point talking about him being a lightweight anymore. People move up in weight all the time. Just ask PAC and Marquez.

You say he's to inexperienced for mayweather then I guess Canelo is to right? So u wouldn't want to see the Canelo fight? If Guerrero is to inexperienced then I guess that leaves only three fights for floyd to take PAC, Bradley and Martinez.

2 are with top rank and the other is the best middleweight in the world. Won't happen.

i disagree. Guerrero gets alot of respect for rising from lightweight (and he wasnt there that long) straight to welterweight and beating 2 top welterweights in berto and aydin. But he looks sluggish and plodding to me at welter, and also got rocked in both aydin and berto matches.

so i don't know, all the fights you mentioned are pick em fights in my mind.

But your right. At 147 there isn't really a challenge for floyd so guerrero is fine.

The only challenges i see are Manny Pac still and if not that any 154 fighter.

he's not a bum you idiot.

He's just rose from lightweight to welter and beat 2 good fighters and is now taking on the best in the sport. He is probably gonna lose but he aint no bum

But i agree that Peterson, mathysse and Garcia Beat him. And i'd prob favour Alexander, Khan and Bradley too.

But there all close ones and guerrero belongs in that mix

Guerrero is not a bum, and short of fighting at 154 where Floyd has never looked very good, there isn't really much of anyone else he could really take on right now.

Point is though, Guerrero might be best viable option taking into account the aforementioned, but there is still a HUGE disparity in skill between him and Mayweather. Basically Mayweather is taking on the best option if he isn't going to fight at 154, but that person still isn't anywhere near his league... There is Floyd, and then everyone else at 147, there aren't many promising options...

Bladegunner I think you're right coming to see it this way.

I'm also pretty sure he'd beat Matthysse - the real king at 140. He'll obviously beat Khan, Peterson is too inept. Rios and Alvarado need to become more like Guerrero.
    Rankings for me:
    1. May
    2. Marquez
    3. Pac
    4. Bradley
    5. Guerrero
    6. Matthysse
    7. Ortiz
    8. Garcia
    9. Peterson
    10. Thurman
    11. Berto
    12. Khan
    13. Maidana
    14. Alvarado
    15. Rios

    - Alexander - stick Alexander just behind Matthysse - Matthysse will always hold the bigger threat because of his punching power.

in that list, Guerrero should be ranked with Alvarado and Rios.

Guerrero legit challenge who has earned his shot.

Coming up in weight classes like floyd.

Not no catchweight bull****, or coming off a loss.
