    That'd probably make more sense, as Charles won his title at heavyweight.

    Edit: plus I just doubled checked and Charles' was 19 years, not 18. And I read the months and days of the line above, so it's definitely not him :lol:.

    And yes all were professional boxers first and then became thespians, as it were. (all with speaking film roles)

    Rourke did it the other way around, though his patented "Neko"* punch might have fallen a bit short of the Manassa Mauler's, Marvelous', or Magic Man's best stuff. :sisi1

    Mickey was a boxer first — an amateur in his teens, I think. Trained at the Fifth Street Gym in Miami, I believe.

    Yes, they borrowed in the sense that all three, in their only world championship reign, scored an upset that was then avenged with their reign ending at the hands of the very same opponent. :thumbsup:
