Sounds like Mikkel Kessler except for the toe to toe part but then again, he traded pretty good shots with Calzaghe and Andrade in the past. :think

I love Mikkel, but he doesn't have great heart, at least not in the ring. He also doesn't really go toe to toe. His style isn't relentless either...

Yep, Blackwood is only a couple of miles away. Where in Pontypridd is Toms? I used to go to the Maltsters by the bridge for live bands. Not sure if it's still there now but they used to have a kind of underground cave to play in.

JMM has a good chin and well above average power.

Cotto's chin is above average and his defense is good, definitely improved.

I disagree about JMM's chin and I don't see anything in terms of power...:think

Jesus Christ I know that place!! Never went in there.... looked like a bit of a hole to be honest! Didn't seem to have any windows from the outside. Am I right in thinking it was named after Tom Jones?

Yes, I've heard of the Alarm - bit before my time though. Blackwood is where the Manics are from.

Owen and Winstone are more Merthyr way.

Unfortunately we're kkeeping it on page 1 which is the worst thing. But there's a load of crap on here too.

I moved up to London a couple of years ago and moved in with my girlfriend etc etc so I no longer live in Newbridge but go home every now and again.

Not really that much of a soccerball fan to be honest.

You'd probably like Le Pub in Newport!
