I think he got done dirty tonight in Texas, but I'm not gonna ***** about it.

Loma's still the man, and even with the deck stacked against him, he proved his mettle in the championship rounds. This loss is going to be the catalyst for greater things going forward, and I'm proud of his performance despite the result.

It's still gonna be one hell of a ride, folks. You can pry that ticket to the bandwagon from my cold, dead hands. :deal

    War Lomachenko!!!!! :party

Classy interview, didn't make any excuses even though Salido and the ref did him dirty.

Did we watch the same fight? He got bullied and could do nothing but hold, pitty pat and hold some more. When the 33 year old got tired he mounted a comeback. This dude sucks! his arrogance was his downfall. I guess his lofty plans blew up in his face.

Yeah, people will try and make out like a loss means his career's over and **** like that but he's still got a long road ahead of him I feel.

He has a chin, fights left handed.. and has a slick mind-set. That is the makings of a really good long lasting fighter right there.

I think if both fighters were the same weight.. Loma would have won tonight.

By a guy who cheated didn't come in on weight and then went up to WW Lomo isn't going to be fighting guys 2 classes above him in weight in future.

He came back strong in the championship rounds, after having been immersed in Pro Boxing 101 in the previous ten. Size disparity or no, I would favor him over Salido in a rematch.

I saw a dude with the balls to take on a titlist with an 11 pound weight advantage and homefield advantage in his second fight. As boxing fans, we should appreciate those who take risks instead of coddling their 0.

He took a little longer to figure out Salido, but by the end of it, it was the bigger man on the verge of getting knocked out.

    He'll learn from this.

Arrogance? I saw nothing but respect. When things didn't go his way, he didn't *****, he didn't cry about it, and he didn't resort to low blows back. That's class. And that's guts.

He's really not. Garcia wrecks him and I didn't see the potential in Loma to ever be as good as Mikey.

Loma indeed showed the lack of pro experience, but it was about the dirty and not honest part of boxing rather than the actual skills and quality. I felt that he got robbed by the judges and the ref, but the life goes on. Everyone predicted that Salido would take him to the "deep waters" and hurt him late, but guess what, it was Loma beating him up in the late rounds and Salido doing his best to survive. Salido almost got drown in those same deep waters himself. Lomachenko showed the heart of the champion and I believe that it should be appreciated. You can bash him now and tell that he sucks all you want, but even you are aware that you got very limited time to do that because Loma is coming back.

There are definitely some great things about him tonight.

He went 12 rounds easily and rallied to hurt Salido in the 12th. He was also fighting a guy who didn't make weight and was at a weight disadvantage. He didn't get hurt, not even by the 50 low blows Salido landed.

He's tough and has a lot potential, but he needs a lot of improvements on offense. Ditching his father may be his first step to greatness.

Garcia...a guy who has never fought someone who deliberately failed weight but infact...is accused of the same thing?
