    wa't dat net sizze kin, is gjin oprjochte Fries. Or do you speak luwarders?
    Anyway I was born in Groningen but with Fries blood coursing through my
    veins and currently living in the Philippines.

    Nice to see a fellow country man on these boards. And yes. Not knowing
    Koopmans as a Leeuwarder would be unforgivable. Is he still giving lessons at
    Boksschool Frisia?

    I call myself Dutch and Frisian, I lived in Leeuwarden most of my life. I speak both Frisian and Luwadders. Do you box yourself?

    No, he occasionally trains there from what I've heard. I train at Olympia so I'm not very sure. Piet Roosendaal is still the first trainer, second is Pascal Hartkamp. They have a branch in the Westerein (Zwaagwesteinde) now, rough characters over there.

    And no I'm not a boxer, have had some lessons for fun as a kid but ended up
    competing in badminton on a pretty decent level. However i've always had an
    interest in about anything to do with sports. Boxing became a main interest
    when i moved to the Philippines where Pacman is the local sports hero.

    Rough characters in Zwaagwesteinde now or Frisia in general? Used to have
    a friend from Leeuwarden with some stories about the local penose .. but
    that's too far off topic i think.

    Ah ok. It's very big over there, wish it was the same here.

    Zwaagwesteinde, the Walden are known for their aggressiveness. Myn Herder is myn redder. Herder is a brand knife ;)

    I probably know all the characters involved if it's not too long ago :D
