I have no problem with Pavlik facing Lorenzo in a voluntary but what has this kid actually done to deserve the WBC mandatory spot?

 

Actually . . . Lorenzo is just making noise to get noticed, so I don't really see this fight happening . . . not unless Pavlik wants a break from the high profile fights. Lorenzo needs to work his way to contention.

 

The WBC just helped him - I guess a guy like Lockett or Zbik will also have no problem to earn some kinda mandatory abc spot without doing less to nothing... :twisted:

Lorenzo's last 3 opponents have a combined record of 54 wins, and 31 losses with, believe it or not, all 31 losses coming by way of knock out. By what stretch of the imagination does this guy belong in the ring with Pavlik?
