i guess all of u guys who are so sure of either kessler or calzaghes trashing of the other guy, must have put in a great amount of money with the bookies, right? anybody wanna tell us how mutsh u have at stake?
There are 2 things I never bet money on. 1. Horse Racing - Corrupt as **** 2. Boxing - especially when it involves a fighter of mine Saying that, I have a bet in an accumulator where Joe only needs to win for me to win some dosh. I'd never risk much money on this fight. Calzaghe's old... anything can happen to him in there. I am just 65% sure of the outcome.
I never bet real cash. Following sport for over 30 years has taught me that there is no such thing as a sure thing. One should bet with money they consider lost, and for the fun of it. I am afraid of the gambling monster.
So you do bet on italian football once in awhile? :smoke Haven't got money on the fight - I just don't gamble - oh and I'm far from 110% sure of the outcome - for the first time prior to a Kessler-fight - and prior to a Calzaghe-fight ... and that's it so f*cking great!!! finally a fight where the question is not how/when Kessler/or Calzaghe is going to win - but the question is who is going to win... A top5 fight in Europe all-time (lets hope it lives up to the buzz) Hoping for a dramatic draw ... fights this big deserves a trilogy
I bet on 2 sports . 1, The grand national every year, ( cos its local ) 2, I do bet on the big fights but not a big bet , but i have £200 on calzaghe in this fight .
I've got 200 on Kessler at 7/4 Even though i know that stylewise Calzaghe has the clear edge, I think Kessler is good enough to win it, especailly considering that Calzaghe is getting older.
I put everything I won with the under 11.5 rounds Povetkin-Byrd match on Calzaghe. The Povetkin bet was a lot bigger than what I usually bet (which probably isn't a lot for big betters), so this is pretty huge for me. I have a little bit on Calzaghe by TKO in the 10th, 11th, and 12th also. I can't wait for this! How great is it that it's on regular HBO? The only thing bad about the match is that Max Kellerman will be in the place of Larry Merchant.
**** no. What do you think I am, stupid? If I wanted to waste my money, i'd blow it on drink or women. I'm sure Calzaghe will win quite comfy, but not that sure!!!
