eliminators should be 5 rounders too. fighters get titles shot based on how they look. if someone can't fight 5 rounds, then should he get the title shot? maybeits round 3 onwards where they lose, shouldn't they get exposed pre title shot?

I think Guida matches up quite well. Hendo's strengths are his cardio, his wrestling and his agressivness which I think Guida can match or atleast come close to matching. Jim Miller is a terrific fighter but I cant imagine Hendo easily taking down Guida everytime he tries and beating on him quite that bad Guida and Miller are totally different fighters. Guida made Pettis look weak and remember Pettis took Hendo down a couple times. This is a very good fight I like Hendo in it but it will be competitive and this is going to be one hell of a night.

exactly what i think, guida could easily sneak out the first 2 rounds here and badly lose the 3rd but still take the W, pisses me off really, is this officially a title eliminator though?

there are also probably alot of fighters out there who are championship fighters more than contenders. guys like hendo, edgar etc are in good shape so they can really distance themselves from 3 round fighters. Imagine if Maynard vs Edgar II was an eliminator over 3 rounds! Poor Frankie!

5 rounders also give fighters like Demian Maia a better chance. I thought of that when I first saw him, in his fight against MacDonald. Maia isn't as strong as a lot of the top guys at 185, and he may need the extra time to wear them down. Just think what may have happened had Maia and Munoz been scheduled for 5.
