How good fighter is he? I see he started his pro career as a welterweight and is now cruiserweight champ!!! he even fought at heavy weight and won by KO!!
How do you think he would do against adamek and the other top cruiser weights?

Jones is good and can punch, he seems a bit unfocused and lazy though he fights sparadically I sremember him beating Bratwaith

Jones the incredible expanding man was a very good fighter. I remember him nearly causing an upset vs Nelson in a fight that most thought Jones won. Nelson was soo negative and spoiled terribly. It was pretty much that fight that announced Jones to the world. He bashed up Braithwaite and Davis in two very exicting shoot outs and recently KO'ed Arslan. Jones is was a very intriguing fighter because he's very talented and somehow magically expanded from being a welter to a cruiser despite being 6ft 4.

fair enough, good answers. he must have looked anorectic fighting at 147. maybe somebody told him to start eating.

  5. Yea wow. I wondered what happened to Braithwaite resurfaced. I thought Guillermo Jones was gonna do some damage in the cruiserweight division.

He's physically a born fighter. Don't think he has it in his heart.

Braithwaite was an oddity. He was too big for 75 but too small for 200lbs. You should see what Jones did to Davis. Beating..

He almost won some title fights at Jr Middleweight. He's a good fighter. I think he may be suited better at cruiserweight than any other weight including Heavy but he's tall enough to be a good heavyweight fighter.

Same goes for paul Williams, with his reach and height, if he gain more weight, he could easily compete at a much higher weight class!!

So what has he been doing for a full year? Why isn't he defending his title? Not even once...

There goes one more year wasted. This guy is pushing 38...and he doesn't even have a bout scheduled yet.... He is wasting his own time and ours being there probably is a good worthy champion for the WBA out there but this guy is sitting on it not even challenging anyone at all...

This wont be good for his career.

Arslan at least defended his title 5 months after beating Hill and 4 months later he laid a whoopin on Wilson... Jones didn't do ****, hes just sitting on that belt and keeping it warm...

    What a joke.
