Except for that many people were talking about how Rigo would school Lomachenko.

^ This. Rigo is for sure an exceptional talent but ran into somebody better and he can't deal with it.

I have nothing bad to say about Rigo in this case. Because what he said about he doesn't land on Loma's list is actually only a part of interview where he praised Loma and backed him to defeat Lopez. I suggest others to read the entire interview to get the whole picture.

He respects Loma and admitted that he lost to the better fighter in other interview a year ago. Though his reasons of why he quitted the fight sound odd, he is not a bad loser, unlike that Russell Jr. dude.

Marquez was the #2 p4p fighter in the world and went on to campaign at welterweight. Rigo was a 50 year old career 118 pounder who hasnt done jack since. You obsessing over 2 pounds for a fighter that could easily make weight with a same day way in is an absolute joke

He’s not close to 50 now, which makes it even harder for him to have been 50 when he fought Loma.
As for not having done ‘jack’ since, he’s just won a world title.
More to the point, how many people are claiming it is better? Not enough for you this to be bothering you so much surely.

No he wouldn't  Skill and stylewise he was never gonna be able to beat Loma. He's very skilled at what he does but he's nowhere near as dynamic as Loma. Let's not kid ourselves. Loma exposed how limited Rigo was when he took away his left hand.

A scaled-up Rigo would have been very dangerous to anybody his size, even Loma.

The only boxer who is capable beating Rigo, even if undersized is the legendary Naoya Inoue
