No, I just thought it was a very informative, and factual break down of the railroading of Rigondeaux. The way they lied, and slandered him, not based on facts at all. The way he was punished for spanking one of HBO's golden boys. It was comical hearing Bob Arum say the fight was even, going into the 11th round. Comical how Arum claimed he ran. The way Lampley was on his nuts, for several fights, and then after spanking Donaire, Lampley's commentary on Rigondeaux was 180 degrees different. Like the higher ups told him to trash him or something. I was also eye opening, how rumors get started and then picked up by fans who don't know any better. Rigondeaux's fight numbers were par for what HBO fight ratings get, even better than some known commodities in the same time span. So the nobody wants to watch him thing is simply pure bs.

If he comes and fights in England he will get the respect. Would love to watch him live.

Great job exposing the life of Rigo and the price he paid for dumping one of the most powerful promoter in Boxing Bob Arum.

Well presented and well articulated argument. A pity that most of his detractors won't be inclined to take note of it.

He was given his own opportunity...to go up against a heavily promoted fight between two well known welterweights. Interesting that you fail to mention that.

Also, People at the NJ show were there to watch their boy (Glen Tapia) get his head handed to him by a returning James Kirkland. Admit it...that's why you were there, and you wouldn't have given a damn about Rigo even if he had faced an opponent who was willing to engage.

Stage the fight in Miami, and people wouldn't have left. Stage the fight on its own, as opposed to competing against another show, then Rigo-Agbeko goes over a million...easy.

Atlantic City is a popular destination for boxing! Probably the 5th or 6th most popular place.

Neither Tapia nor Kirkland have that many fans.

And WRONG, I was there to see Rigo. I stayed the full 12 rounds. I met Rigo, Hyde, Diaz (trainer), Agbeko, Agebko's uncle (who was quite eager for me to meet his nephew for some reason), Roger Mayweather, Ward, Kellerman, and Jim Lampley.

Oh, and I met Sergey Kovalev!!!

    Meeting Kovalev would be cool

"Jersey Boy" Tapia did have a lot of fans though, he was a local guy.

Arum screwed up so bad with Rigo, no need to trash talk him. He should have just put him in Miami on smaller cards or found a co-promotion in Japan or somewhere with money and a fight culture that genuinely gives a sht about
the lower weight classes to build notoriety and make some money until the right HBO opportunities came around.

Nice enough to sign a boxing glove and pose for a picture... I wouldn't say he's extraordinarily friendly or anything.
