I saw him fight Donaire. Haven't been able to see him since because he has been banned from US tv. You really need to go and take some Business classes. Yes Rigo has skills but the guy is boring and has ZERO fan base willing to spend this thing we call money to see him.

Arturo Gatti didn't have half the ability of Rigo but was on HBO like 15 times because he could:

sell tickets
and got excellent ratings

you seem to not understand how this sport works. It doesn't matter how good Rigo is if nobody wants to pay to see him live or watch him on tv. :roflatsch

“I think the fight is inevitable, it’s just a matter of when,” Hearn said. “I think you are talking about the No.1 and No. 2 super bantamweights in the world and as much as I rate Rigo, I think there are so many more levels to see from Scott. We will continue to build Scott and as soon as that fight becomes PPV in the UK, it can happen. Scott wants the biggest fights in the division and of course that process has to include Rigondeaux.”

I'm from the UK. Trust me, not even that many people have even heard of Quigg. Far, far, far, far, less Rigondeaux. In fact, I bet tons more people have heard of Martinez. That wasn't on PPV was it?

I watch a lot of Boxing but Rigo is one fighter I don't waste my time with and can't do it anyway since he is not on tv because of his awful fighting style.

 

It also doesn't help that Rigo is one of the ugliest men on the planet. If I were to grip my testicles like I was getting ready to throw a knuckleball and then rotated it 180% and took a picture of it, I would still pull more women on OKCupid than using a picture of Rigo.

Why do you need PPV? 2 millions will cover the 2 fighters I bet you for 1 million Rigo go to England. Largest purse was 750K with Nonito.

Nobody knows in the UK knows who Rigondeaux is.

Why should Quigg give him 1 million pound when he will sell next to 0 tickets and not many would be interested in watching on TV who wouldn't watch anyway?

Quigg could expand his fanbase for more money, in much more exciting fights that would also likely be a lot easier.

Plus they only offered Frampton 1.5m and that was for a PPV fight in front of a massive arena. Where you getting your figures from that Rigo could generate that much on none PPV?
