He could have been, if he'd have just defected rather than doing that weird **** he did.

I wish he would get his ass over here.
I keep hearing about him and i hate just watching his olimpyc footage. It is a completely different world.
Why the hell hasnt he come to the US yet!? Anyone know?

He tried dude. He got cold feet and bailed out and ain't leaving Cuba anytime soon. It's not that easy to get out man, it's a lot easier said than done.

I don't think that fight was televised.

Guillermo is too defensive runs too much no a good style in the pro Gamboa comes straight on you with lot's fire power that is why he is more suitable for the pro.

Gamboa is not too far from getting KNOCKED THE **** OUT if he continues doing that.

    Just my opinion.

Well we need to see him go pro Jay before we can say that.
Anyways i was just on boxrec checking on Barthelomy since i have not heard much of him and saw that he lost his last fight against some ernie marquez.

Did anyone watch this fight? Was it a robbery?
I always thought Barthelomy was much more technically sound and would have a great career ahead of him and this marquez guy from his record looks like a bum.
Someone fill me in on what happened in that fight!

Guillermo is similar to Barthelemy lot's of movement some of these Cubans are perfect for the amauter competition 3 or 4 rounds see what happened to Barthelemy the other night he could not handle a pressure fighter for 6 rounds the main reason why he lost, no power.Gamboa is very explosive as a feather with rare combination of speed and power that is why he is moving up the rank so fast.
