Bartelemy just loss the fight bro, no excuses, I never liked Bartelemy... I was really really happy that he turned pro but apart from that I never liked his style, even knowing that he used to whoops Gamboa's ass while they were in Cuba, but I just never saw it in him, I have always been a follower of Rigondeaux, Gamboa and Solis... More of Solis than Gamboa.

NONE of the true great Cuban boxers have ever turned pro, only the ones that while in Cuba used to live in their shadows, the truly great ones never got the chance (Stevenson, Balado, Savon, Rigondeaux)

I really thought Barthelomy was actually gonna go farther than Gamboa. Gamboa is athletically gifted and all but his defense is not the greatest. I think he is a highlight KO waiting to happen.

are you serious ? you can't compare Rigondeaux to Bartelemy, listmen men Riogndeaux was faster, smarter, more athletic, harder puncher and had better movement than Gamboa + Bartelemy togther, I been to these people's training camps with my brother (he used to box and my stepfather he is a national trainer in Cuba.... trained Gamboa when he was young) Rigondeaux is in a total different class.

Its hard to be in Gamboa possition right now, If he wins a fight by UD he didnt do much... he underachieved, then If he goes in there trying to score a first round Knockout like he usually does... of course he has to get caught a few times but he always gets the guy. Gamboa is a new star and those dont come along very ofter... no one can dougth his talent.

Comparing rigondeaux & barthelemy? Hell no.

look at the videos, there is no way in hell you can compare them.

Rigondeaux is faster and moves way better, and his footwork is awsome.

Barthelemy just sucks, plain and simple.

Agreed, Rigondeaux is superior in every department. Unlike Barthelemy he actually has power, infact he has more amateur KO's than Gamboa.
He also has better defence and footwork, Barthelemy gets tagged quite alot in most of his fights. Too be fair though Barthelemy is a few years past his best and his style was always made for the amateurs, it was quite clear he was never going to become elite.
