You realize Rigondeaux detractors were BEGGING for this fight a month before it was signed--now suddenly Poon is a bum. :rofl

Also, who would you suggest he fight exactly? Mares-Moreno are tied up. Arce-Donaire is signed. Agbeko has recently been associated with Don King and he'll stop any one of his former fighters from getting a payday if possible. Also, Agebeko is a natural BW and people would just completely write him off as "shot" because he lost to Mares twice. :hi:

Make no mistake about it. Rigo vs Poon is the main event of the card. Donaire will pretty much just show up to receive his early Xmas gift from uncle Bob. It's an ok card overall. We know what has to happen next yr though. No excuses.

it's a step up for rigo but don't get your panties wet. even arce would be a step-up opponent for rigo if we are basing it from his previous opponents.

He beat Dunne, who had a good win over Cordoba for the WBA title in Dunnes backyard.

    WTF!

Poon is step up from Cordoba, Maraquin and Kennedy.

    You cannot criticize this opponent.

Poon defeated Dunne who whoop cordoba - the same Cordoba who knocked down Rigo and made him fight like Mayweather in the Baldomir fight.

  8. MollyWhop Nonito is not ducking no one he fights more often than Rigo who is in his early pro career. Rigo had an amazing Amteur career and should be fighting better fighters. Lets see how he fares against some common foe before you decide Nonito is ducking a guy with 11 Pro fights.. You ****

  9. Just to shut the ****ing idiots up here who think Rigo should get a shot at Donnaire...
using donnaires last 11 fights, the total of loses for his last 11 opponentsi s 21 and wins 301..
And there is no point using the 31 year old Rigo's cos you fools will say he is at the begining of his Pro career lmao...
Oh and to the people using Dunne as an example how good Poonsawat is, answer me this. Why did Dunne retire?? It certainly had nothing to do with Poonsawat

let us just say dunne koed cordoba, which is more than what Rigo could do against Cordoba.

I am saying Poon is really a step up compared to the likes of Marroquin, Cordoba, or Kennedy.

Give Rigo a slack. You said so yourself, he is an 11 fight profeesional, and fighting his number 2 ranked opponenet is not that bad.

No one is saying Poon is great, just a step up in opposition.

Arce would KO Poon anytime anywhere. Even if Arce is now old their levels are still different

The one good thing Rigo did was fighting the same card with Donaire to get exposure.

But really, this Thailand guy is a no hopper against Rigo. He bullies guys with
