seriously this guy P4P wise has to be one of IF NOT THE BEST! at the moment if he scaled up to 147 i honestly think he would clown pacquiao and prob give mayweather boxing IQ a run for its money rumoured to have an amateur record of 355 - 1 (though no real record has been shown) im hard pressed to find an active fighter who would beat him? barrera and morales have always been my fav fighters but i really dont think they would win against rigo at bantam [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPf7g9tb3W8[/ame] what do you guys think?
That's not his amateur record, he's had almost 400 amateur fights with 12 losses. That record of 355-1 is Vasyl Lomachenko's amateur record, also a double Olympic gold medallist. Rigondeaux is good but not that good, he can't fight at 147 with his body. That'd be like Mayweather fighting at 168.
in his prime i think there is no doubt you are right.. but an older mayweather like the one who faught cotto at 154 dident look anywhere near as sharp as im used to seeing... it raises questions
yer dont get wrong i was saying IF.. he is to old now and he has prob reached his weight limit (prob wouldent fight past 126...) i was talking in a P4P sense
yer he learnt alot from that fight to be more exciting.. for some reason he got a little gunshy.. from then on in he has had amazing performances .. im still waiting for some world class opponents to stop hiding and give this guy a shot i mean just thefact that they are infact ducking shows you he aient no pushover. every fighter has a bad performance in rigos case it was a SD and not a loss so thats a positive thing
He gettin hyped rite now cuz of his amateur pedigree. He ain't done much in the pros just yet. He definitely got a future tho. His division is stacked, so if he stays there he'll get his chance to shine. Rite now, I think Donaire would beat him. We'll see if he gets past Nish.
I think he did spar Mayweather, Floyd beat the crap out of him and did his usual (Shouting abuse etc) and caught **** for it after. Rigo is too small to fight Mayweather, or even Pacquaio.
