Come on now, we are very excited, that's all. It's a breaking news fresh out of Miami Beach. Rigondeaux is an exceptional talent with great amateur achievements and happens to be Cuban, which means it's extremely difficult to be able to do it without the headgear and the shirt - and we were very disappointed that two times Guillermo couldn't pull it off. Now that he could, we are very happy, obviously. Of course only the future will tell his chances, but still...

Barring all the usual caveats though, this kid should be very good, and considering his age and Arena Box's history, he should be moved VERY quickly. I suspect he'll be ready to fight guys like Parra within a year.

Of course. But the single fact that he at least has the opportunity now to be part of this whole different story, is very exciting.

 

Why are we going to be boring and grounded about the whole subject, aren't we allowed to get excited about a immensley good amateur going pro, after such a long wait aswell?

I bet your one of those people that see's a fight between 2 great fighters and instead of picking sides, declares 'sport' the winner.

 

That's fine. I just think "He's going to dominate" and Rigon > Marquez and Vasquez is far reaching at this point.
