How did Rigo get a license to fight after the water incident? A year hasn't passed and your eyes can't heal that fast.

It's pretty sad to see someone like Rigondeaux to fight on such shabby shows.

It doesn't appear that any of the surface level damage was long lasting.

It's streaming in some obscure website, not sure about the price of the stream. Rigondeaux is obviously not being picked up by TV channels anymore, especially when fighting journeymen.

People were fleeing from him when he was in his prime. I can’t imagine what the crowd would be now that he’s obscure.

Eyes tend to heal very quickly. But yeah I hear you when the news came out I thought the guy was going to be blind.

It's an online PPV, started at 7pm EST, but with almost 4 hours worth of undercard on paper:

I would wager he's making like $25k for this fight. Can't be much more than that.

For what it's worth I just came back from Miami and you couldn't throw a rock without hitting a billboard ad for it. Even way out in the Everglades, it was interesting.

The thirty-six year old Venezuelan veteran, "Verdugo" Parejo is a former four time world title challenger (three of them interim belts, so just a one time world title challenger if you don't count those) and quite a step up in class for the 9-1 local Cubano.
