2-2. Rigo needs to go back to boxing and run him into a shot.

    38-38

Ceja was busier in round 4, but I thought Rigo landed the better shots inside.

I remember when Ceja fought McDonnell, he was being billed as the next big thing out of Mexico

    Round 5

Rigondeaux is stepping in and making a point to be first. Rigondeaux is working quick short right hooks into Ceja's face and then putting lefts behind them. Ceja is having to play the counter-punching role now, and is left a bit discombobulated with having to follow Rigondeaux's lead., often shaking off big expertly thrown power shots before he's able to fire off his own. Ceja does get a high shoeshine volley on the face of Rigondeaux while backing him up briefly, and then Rigondeaux starts to peck away on him with right hooks up top and lefts downstairs.

    10-9 Rigondeaux, extremely close

    48-47 Ceja

"fringe" is given that dude a bit too much credit.. but yeah Arslan sorta a freak to be doing this in his late 40's.. and at least still fighting competitive fights.

Rigo takes the 5th, so he switched trainers.
No wonder he's looking like Cuban Kudryashov in there

Wow, hell of a stat there... Rigondeaux has never been punched more than 82 times in a fight by any previous opponent. 153 times already by Ceja.

Not looking so good for Rigo. Rough inside fighting. No separation, no sticking and moving, and tons of low blows from Rigo. Rigo needs to hang it up or accept that he is now stepping stone status.
