Rigo has been watching Dave Allen too much lately.

    Round 1 Rigondeaux 10-9, close
Round 2 Ceja 10-9, very close
    Round 3 Ceja 10-9, close

Best shots from Rigo, far more from Ceja.

Ceja is looking big and lethargic and Rigondeaux is looking smaller and even more lethargic. I cant believe what I'm seeing.

Rigo looks every bit the 38 year old man he is. Ceja just the hungrier fighter.. and Rigo seems to not want to be able to get his punches off.
    Rigo looks bad.

    Round 3

Rigondeaux is getting swarmed, attempting to crowbar his way free with the left uppercut and then knead Ceja into fixed place at medium-long range with the right jab. Ceja refusing to comply, bucking up against Rigondeaux, driving his right arm through, catching Rigondeaux's southpaw jabs on its outer edge from bicep to elbow, and then wailing away, raining shots down on the head as Rigondeaux lapses into a turtle shell and reduces his output. Ceja is cranking in right uppercuts and clipping Rigondeaux on the face, but also taking lefts in return.

    10-9 Ceja, close

    29-28 Ceja

Yeah, he's 38...but yesterday Firat Arslan, who's 48, a full decade older than Rigondeaux, fought a fringe contender from Argentina...who got KTFO in 2 by Arslan. :nusenuse: Just sayin'.

I think Rigo stops Ceja in the later rounds. I want him to go to the body more.

    Round 4

Rigondeaux is getting outworked in a phonebooth dog-fight. Rigondeaux is trying to yank himself out of the pocket from the waist up and slingshot his way in with 1-2s, but Ceja is making lots of incidental contact while he's doing so. Ceja just gluing himself to Rigondeaux, pulping up the sides, hooks lapping in against the sides of the skull and crashing gently like ocean waves. Rigondeaux doing waaaaaaaay too little active countering to keep himself on the scoreboard...and even with focusing almost entirely on defense, he isn't screening out a large majority of Ceja's punches, although most are only partially grazing.

    10-9 Ceja

    39-37 Ceja

Rigo again with the harder shots, Ceja outworking him by a mile.
