Ok, I may agree or disagree with other opinions here, but that is just plain stupid, and says you either know **** about boxing, are a troll, are hating for no reason, or the three of them.

You guys are missing the obvious, first 12 round, first world tittle ( even if it was an interim), he was fighting a world class boxer, who owns a win against Caballero, who by the way said that he would teach a lesson to Rigondeaux, GR had him in the fourth round and he pull back, why? He was not sure he could fight for 12 rounds, a big event and all that got to him, imo, and for those that think he will get outworked by WVII or any of those fighters, you guys are so wrong, is like you don't know boxing, he is a counter puncher, if you try to overwhelm him, he will pick u a part coming in, you will b playing to his strenght, the fact of the matter is, he won easy against a world class ex- champ, younger and with 4 times as many fights, for this I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, just because he didn't look pretty in wining a fight, I'm going to say he is garbage, hey 90% of Whitaker's fights were boring and he was dominant and a HOF.

He is not going to cut it in the pro? He already has an interim belt on his 7 fight, look around and check how many has done this, one ugly fight it doesn't make a whole career, and he won! why did Cordoba didn't press the fight or try to overwhelm him with a volume of punches, he couldn't catch up with him, and when he did he got tag it, he was hurt in the 4, 11 and 12, that is why.

It's not like Cordoba was doing much either. He needs to be in there with someone who is going to push him.

Let see if he can clean 122 first. 7 pro fights yes but over 300 am fights and he is almost 30. It is not like he is a green 18yr old kid coming up the ranks.

A lot of talent and a crap mentality to go with it. He fought like if any punch landed it would give him the aids. This was a bit too much experience for him to face so early, but his intrinsic style is garbage if his pot shots don't get you out of there.

He really has to change his approach if he wants to be successful at the highest level, and promoters need to find a happy medium between what they are doing to this guy vs. guys like Chavez jr who fight cripples into the 30th or 40th fight to get a big undefeated record.

It has nothing to do with the mentality, he look a little insecure in there, I'll wait for his next fight and c what happens.

Yep like someone said earlier he's the spoiler type aka highly technical. I think after one performance one shouldn't really shortchange the guy. I did expect more, but maybe most people were shortchanging Cordoba. I wouldn't mind a rematch somewhere in the future or maybe Cordoba's style is Rigo's achilles. Cordoba didn't fight so bad and wouldn't mind seeing him in another fight neither.

Drop Shields and go back with Roach.
