Dude has ONE name on his resume. ONE. And it was FOUR years ago. Yes, Rigo has sublime and otherworldly skills, but P4P is more than ability. It's resume and Rigo's resume sucks prolapsed ass.

Not his fault, The Coward of Belfast, and Leo Pantie Cruz ducked him.

There's an argument out there that can be made for him, I'm just not of that opinion anymore.

Rigo ducked Loma, though. Rigo had the chance to rise to the occasion and make a statement and stop Agbeko, who had never been stopped. Agbeko was TERRIFIED. I think in round 4, Agbeko threw 1 punch. When an opponent is terrified, and you're supposedly elite of the elite, then you make a statement.

Agbeko has an iron chin and good defense, a solid guard. He's not getting KO'd by anyone if he goes into defensive mode. Same way Pac couldn't KO Clottey..

How does Rigondeaux get ridiculed for not taking a fight with a guy who would outweigh him by more than 10 pounds in the ring, and have 4 1/2 inches in height over him, while that same guy is given a pass for not moving up and fighting Crawford? Rigs gives up more size to Lomachenko than Loma gives up to Crawford. Some of you are real hypocrites. Mind you, Rigs told Arum to pay him properly and he would fight at 126, no strings, Arum then claimed Rigs was pricing himself out by not taking 400K. lol

Rigo has pure dynamite in his hands. Donaire was iron-chinned, was badly hurt, and would have been knocked out if Rigo applied more pressure. Against a terrified Agbeko, Rigo had every opportunity to KO that ass.

But to your point, Donaire was bigger that night than Lomachenko was on fight night against Sosa and Walters.

Pacquiao hasnt beaten any top welterweight except bradley in the past 4 years so i guess he should be removed from the discussion too.

Donaire doesn't utilize a tight high guard though. Agbeko's guard was glued to his face much of the time. Donaire threw punches, and was countered by Rigs. Agbeko hardly threw anything so there was less opportunity to counter

Donaire also isn't skilled like Lomachenko. I'm just saying that Rigs is 5'2 1/2 to 5'3. Lomachenko is 5'7 to 5'7 1/2. Rigondeaux doesn't hardly rehydrate, some fights he enters the ring at 122, from his own statements. Had Arum made the proper offer the fight would have happened at 126 no stipulations, as Rigs finally said, just compensate him properly. Arum nixed it, saying that Rigondeaux's refusal to take 400K was pricing himself out. Lomachenko would outweigh him by more than 10 pounds in the ring. By the same token, Crawford is only 5'8, has less of a height advantage over Lomachenko, than Lomachenko has over Rigondeaux and would outweigh Lomachenko by about the same margin, as Lomachenko would outweigh Rigondeaux in the ring. Let's not be hypocritical here.

Agreed. Rigo is a superb talent but his diva tendencies and sense of entitlement have killed his career. He's irrelevant in a P4P sense.

You used Joshua Clottey as an example, but Joshua Clottey is a massive welterweight who is built like a tank. And he probably outsized Pacquiao by 15 pounds. Agbeko is thin and not built to withstand punishment. Rigo has murderous power. He could have lit up Agbeko's body to drop the hands. Agbeko wasn't looking for countering opportunities. He was in full survival mode.

Arum did everything in his power to make Rigo a star. Rigo was showcased on 2 Pacquiao undercards, given Donaire as a sacrifice, and then he was given a headlining opportunity in Agbeko. It was his chance to shine and he didn't. So yes, 400K was overpaying Rigo. Rungvisai was paid $75,000.00 to fight the P4P #1.

You're nauseating when it comes to Loma. Given a pass for not fighting Crawford, give it a ****ing rest you imbecile. Loma had 8 fights and just moved to 130 lbs, where he has fought the biggest boogeyman that he chased from 126. Now he is about to rematch his only "loss" all while challenging the biggest names at 126, 130 and 135. He is a boxer without reproach. Now read this post over and over until it gets through to you, and leave Loma the legend out of your blasphemous mouth.

Rigo didn't duck anyone FFS! He is a freaking microbe, and is already fighting guys almost twice his size! Where do you idiots come from I wonder.
