    War Amagasa! :happy

I don't think Rigondeaux quite as untouchable as he's made out to be, but I think he'll be a bridge to far for HA

One would assume that, will be interesting to see how he copes with Amagasa who is freaky tall at Featherweight, guy's gonna look like a hunger victim at 122lbs

Sheesh... Amagasa is 5'10.5". How will he not be weight drained to the extreme for this fight, given that he's a featherweight now?

Hasn't lost in 4 years and that was to Ryol Lee, future titlist who beat the very legit Poonsawat, plus he redeemed the loss last year.

Good to see Rigondeaux back and good to see Japan properly value great talent (Roman G and now Rigondeaux; two of the very best in the world P4P right now and guys who don't fight at home and haven't been accepted to the USA market).

I'm telling you, boxing's brightest scene and biggest steps up over the last couple years have been Japan.

You'll be pleased to hear that Hinata Maruta has just passed his license test, will debut late next year. Apparently he's just as good as Naoya and Kosei Tanaka

I've been called all sorts of derogatory Asian names on this forum. I understand that people see "Nonito" and might draw conclusions that I am a Filipino fanboy. It was actually just a stupid random joke. The Seattle Mariners just traded the farm for Justin Smoak (pronounced "smoke") and me and the brother, both hating the trade, were pronouncing it like it's spelled ("Smo-ack") and inserting random athletes' names in front of it. Mariner fans to this day correct me and get all butthurt when I call him Justin Smo-ack, as I still do in an effort to troll the local fanbase (despite being a fan of the M's, I hate Seattle sports fans). "Nonito Smoak" struck me as among the stupidest sounding combinations. I logged onto this forum within the next couple days after, thought "what should my username be?" and settled on it... I have had to regurgitate this story ever since I logged on. But yes, some insist I'm a Filipino and throw those insults, some insist I'm an African American who made a name that sounds Asian in an attempt to troll because I tend to defend African American boxers on this site (the Devil's Advocate inside, as well as rooting for the unappreciated party in sports, won't let me not) and have had tons of those insults thrown at me.

But I'm happy to say I am quite the opposite of your prediction; Italian-American (with supposed hints of German/Czeck/Greek).
