Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Ionut Baluta is set for November 12th

Can't believe Rigo is already 44 years old and still fighting. That's unheard of for a fighter his size. He needs to call it a day soon.

 

Rigo probably isn't getting more than $50k to fight these days. Maybe not even that much. Time to call it. ...

 

He's well into his 40s and still fighting for continental belts, he's either dead broke or lost without boxing

 

Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all Its pupils.

Rigo is forty-four years old. Got a bad feeling for Rigondeaux here. Joey Gamache bad. Hope I'm wrong.

Sounds like he's desperately needing the money at this point. Sad to see.

I can't believe anyone in 2024 would want to sit through a Rigo fight. He is one of the most boring fighters ever not to mention a quitter as well.

 

I came here to post who the hell is randomly necrobumping from over five years ago...and to my surprise it was current.

 

It´s probably both. But I don´t think Rigo ever even saw a million dollar purse. He made 400k vs Loma so it´s fair to assume that he hasn´t earned all that much throughout his career.
Hopefully he has been smart with his money.

 

Teofilo Stevenson once said, "What are eight million dollars compared to the love of eight million Cubans?” Unfortunately for Rigo though it would probably be more apt to say "What is half a million dollars compared to the love of dozens of boxing hipsters?"
