    We all saw Rigo weigh in 121.5 today this guy is very small why give away 10 or 15 lbs advantage he did against 140 lbs Nonito .

    Flores is a big guy for the weight class. He will likely have at least a 10 pound weight advantage in the ring. Whether HBO shows the real fight night weights is another matter. Just shows the quality of Rigs, to be the much smaller man, in height, and also the smaller man in weight, and still school these guys.

    Escandon is a beast, with a great chin, he steamrolled Cuellar and stopped him and barreled right over Castellanos, the guy that just stopped Gamboa. But coming into the Russell match, he'd been off for over a year, and his natural weight is Super Bantam, he fought Gary at Feather. Also Escandon plays right into Russell's hands with his style, its not a great idea to try to pressure an incredibly accurate heavy handed fighter who throws blistering combinations, its a recipe for getting KTFO, especially when you're fighting a heavy handed guy in a higher weight division.

    Yeah he was taking a beating from Russell Jr. I'll assume that Flores has gotten a little better since then. Flores reminds me of a Super Bantam Chavez Jr. His size and mass, in the ring make him better at the weight class, than his talent alone would have him.
