Rigo hasnt done much these days. He is high risk low reward, Inoue’s management has no reason to risk him.

I need to see more of Inoue before making a prediction.

Skill was the factor in that one and Loma just had more of it. Way smarter fighter And Rigo tried every foul in the book. Thought he’d take the ward route. It didn’t help him.

Loma was, is, and always will be a solid level above the quitter Rigo.

 

You must know nothing about boxing if you think size and reach don’t play a part in a technical affair.

Th moves you can pull off and th risks you take are far different between a shorter or taller fighter.

Loma applies skills, had he been shorter than Rigo having to reach in and jump out the way quickly he may very have been caught multiple times and stopped. His size and reach made it so that he could control that fight perfectly.

Same way floyd had to walk someone like McGregor down and even got caught with an uppercut. Can’t shoulder roll a punch coming from above because your shoulder is below. And can’t pull back counter someone with much longer reach than you.

Inoue KO's the Rigondeaux from the Ceja fight, as would Tete, and probably Donaire. Rigo isn't a phone booth brawler. His defense was fairly porous against Ceja.
