It was no more than 6 in 22. And scored 2 KDs, that's not struggling. So winning a couple of rounds and a flash KD is success? Coz that's all he really did. Loma wasn't hurt from that right hand and you could tell. I think the fact that you think Loma needs to shut out with absolute ease says that your overrating Loma, not me.
I had Loma edging most of the rounds against Campbell, but they were extremely competitive, Loma wasn't dominating the rounds. I thought Linares won more rounds than Campbell, but Campbell had more close total rounds, yes that's struggling. I'm not saying the fight could have gone either way, but Loma had a really tough time of those fights. No, hitting Loma with multiple combinations and beating the **** out of his body is a success. Did you actually watch the Loma/Linares fight? Your join date suggests you might have started watching boxing in 2019. I didn't expect Loma to shut Linares and Campbell out, I actually predicted they would give him trouble. I knew Loma wasn't as good as people tried to make him out to be.
I think Rigo is somewhat semi-active, semi-retired now. I mean, the guy doesn't seem chase any greatness at time being and had been completely inactive for two years. Rigo probably fight again to kill some boredom. Don't think him and Inoue will ever meet. About Loma, I think he had problems when he faced Linares. He injured his arms for more than half of the fights and Linares himself is a good quality fighter. And it was Loma's first fight in 135, of course, this is the first time he feels the power difference first hand. I had Loma winning by a round before Linares down. Frankly, without that down, the fight was very tight and I wouldn't be surprised if Loma lost on SD.
Lomo and Linares fought on even terms but it ultimately matters little as Lomo stopped him inside the distance. Was lightweight the worst or bottom couple division(s) in the sport? Sure, but he was still the top dog in it and Lomo faced him straight away. A very good win. Though it already hasn't aged too well but still, a top win. It being likely Lomo's best win might perhaps show a bit of how Lomo might be overrated in a P4P resume sense...? Canelo tops him with ease at this point, in my opinion. Even just typing about it in this moment makes me feel Inoue takes him as well.
