most skilled fighter in the world today. more untouchable then floyd. not boring very entertaining in my eyes. quigg, frampton, cruz dont want him. whats his next opponent like, johnathan guzman? after he clears this weight class out, could he move up? hes a small super bantam, but his skills and speed are far superior too anyones atm, which bantumweights could trouble him considering he already schooled donaire.
Totally agree. It's not his fault Nonito had no answers for him. He did what Floyd did to Guerrero, but got ripped for it. P4P Nonito > Guerrero.
Rigondeaux's problem is that he's dominating and should turn up the heat a little bit. It's all well and good winning but when you're so much better than many of your opponents you might as well prove it. If an NFL team won every game 3-0 due to amazing defense we'd complain about it being pretty dull as well.
Shame that Arum is butthurt that Rigo schooled his star, cant wait for his contract to expire, but his problem is fighters are frighten of him they just do not believe they can beat him, Frampton straight away said not now
Talent being wasted away. Not sure if he's more talented than Floyd, he hasn't faced anywhere near the same amount of world class fighters with varying styles.
Hes good. Unfortunately most people don't enjoy learning about boxing so they don't like seeing him. They just want to see human punching bags rip into each other. That's why HBO/Arum are mad, casuals don't like him.
Sure he did, but he could have added some excitement to it, he did in round 12 tbf but had he started like he fought in that round he'd have elevated his standing rather than been a TV turn off.
Top Rank is doing a great dis-service to this man. Hardcore boxing fans who appreciate the beauty of the sport are being denied the opportunity to see this man in the ring simply because Arum is more concerned about the "casual fan".
Rigo is a great fighter but I need to see him fight on the inside to confirm weather he is better than whether?
