Amazing skills, but is it enough for Lomachenko?

I think it could have been earlier in Loma’s pro career and at a lower weight class, but Loma has only gotten better and Rig has only been more and more inactive. With age and ring rust impacting his timing and accuracy I see Loma being too much for the Cuban

Clear edge to Lomo in this matchup... One is too old/small, the other too fast/big. On paper, they are foils for each other but it isn't going to work out for Rigo, I believe.

People are sleeping on Rigo way too much.

Have people seriously forgotten how elite this guys skills are?

Totally agree. I think Rigo's being slept on way too much by way too many people in this fight. To the point it's become completely disrespectful of the fighter and his skills.

To me, this is one of the toughest matches for me to make a prediction on, probably the toughest for me. If I was putting my money on it -- which I definitely won't be -- I'm leaning towards Rigo.

Well the important thing is Loma isn’t sleeping on Rigondeaux. Vasyl is taking this fight very serious and wants to make a statement I think.

I expect Loma to be all business and no showboating. Kinda like the GRJ fight.

Loma will dismantle Rigo, and all Rigo's fans who overhype him will say it was because Rigo was old and too small, but really it will be because of skill.

Lol showboating isn't Loma's problem, Rigo is! I feel Loma's style plays better to Rigo's strengths than Rigo's to Loma's. Loma wears his opponents down with high volume, outworking and out pacing. Rigo is an excellent counter puncher! The more Loma throws, the more chances Rigo has to counter. To be honest, I can't call this fight, but far too many Loma fans are selling Rigo short! I am very interested in seeing what happens if Rigo lands a hard counter shot on Loma. Will he holster his weapons and play cat and mouse, can he win a cat and mouse fight with Rigo? This is a very intriguing fight for me and I feel I am the ultimate winner, being fans of both fighters!

I'm sorry...I respect rigo but he has slim to no chance of winning. The weight difference is a big enough bridge to gap and in my opinion Loma is more skilful too

That highlight could be for Marriaga's defense also. He was making Lomachenko miss a hell of a lot.

Maybe it's enough to avoid being flattened out. Maybe.. I'm not sure.
