Mine is Ron Lyle. He’s actually one of my favourite boxers he isn’t great, he isn’t supremely skilled or particularly talented- he was gritty, strong, powerful and loved a dog fight. Not my type. though I’ve seen every second of Sung Kil Moon...

I honestly get bored to tears watching heavyweights usually- but I root for him like I’m watching a Rocky Movie knowing his life and wish I could come across the Bonavena fight. It is out there. Anyone seen his 80s comeback fights?

It’s sad watching fighters take big shots like Lyle did when you watch them go to war. To me it is like watching the prologue to an early grave and it doesn’t sit well with me at times but that’s boxing and I love it.

For me it has to be Adrien Broner.I know he is obnoxious and full of himself but i can`t help rooting for him because everybody else hates him.He even made me smile when he said he beat Manny Pacquiao despite hardly throwing a punch. Like him or loathe him there is no denying he is a character

Guess we share that. He is everything you say he is, he’s funny to laugh at and I like that he’s around but that doesn’t mean I endorse him as a guy I just enjoy him, bit like a sitcom character. I also root for him, I’d love to see him win a big fight just to see people lose it.

Can anyone recommend any good Ron Lyle fights? I've seen Foreman & Shavers. Any other good one's out there?

I’d say this as well only I feel no guilt whatsoever in the pleasure this fight provides me.

I don’t at all feel guilty about it, but I admire this about Broner (though I don’t like him) same as I do Hector Camacho: when it came time to take an ass-whupping, he took it like a man every time and never balked or looked for an easy way out.
