Gun to your head: Score Hopkins V Dawson 1

    If your life depended on it score the first two rounds of that fight and declare a winner PURELY based on those two rounds.

    Most importantly:
    This content is protected


    Eg: Scored the most punches
    controlled the fight
    led the pace
    countered
    superior footwork
    workrate jabs landed
    power shots landed
    etc


    Whatever you like just be clear. I just want to know what the overall feeling was & try not to be biased for your fighter ESB (For once......)

    Long story short Dawson won the first and second round without a doubt but I expected that, Bernard is a master boxer once he figured out Dawsons range and started roughing up the inside like happened against Johnson I, Bhop would have started picking up rounds rapidly

    Dawson nicked the first two, but there wasn't much to like either way. But I'm sure the rematch will be phenomenal.

    Dawson won both rounds, but he didnt dominate in any way. It went almost ecactly as anyone who thought either Hopkins or Dawson would have expected

    Most probably Chad cause he dictated the pace and landed the few clean effective punches and basically cause he controlled the territorial thing. Now we don't know if Bernard wanted him to run and waist punches in the air but I tell you that gets you tired really damned fast more than ducking, slipping them and using your back legs, it is all a psychological letdown 2.

    As I'm not a sheep I'll call them both even therefore it ends up with the end result of a draw, virtually the same as the actual result with neither winnng.
