    Unbelievable action in the Moir vs Wells fight. Moir was down 3 times in the first, Wells 4 times in rounds 2 & 3.

    ive got burns v becket. burns had a bald head and was game. I thought becket looked good, his record as a british hamp was good too. clearly, carpentier beat a good heavyweight in becket.

    Wonderful films of yesterday.Please keep such rare films of the pioneers of boxing,on ESB...Heard so much of Beckett,Billy Wells,Moir,etc...But this reinforces my belief that the middleweight Georges Carpentier, at 19 and at age 25 flattened these two strong heavyweights three times...What a right cross Carpentier had, in his prime...Forgotten great pre America days...
