I take Scholz here. He was a very tough, durable southpaw with good technique, very good stamina, crafty and a good tactician. He only had average punching power. Never stopped and only lost twice in over 80 fights, once to Charles humez to get a shot at the Euro mw title in a rematch and once to Harold Johnson when he tried to capture the lhw world title, he was already past it then. I think Scholz would be the more clever fighter and would outbox Watson to a clear UD.

    Scholz UD15 Watson.

i'll admit i dont know scholtz. i do however have very fond memories of michael watson, a very skillful boxer with tremendous heart and a good chin . beat nigel benn, was robbed against eubank in the first fight and was well on the way in the second until the uppercut from hell ended his career and life as he knew it. gave near to prime mcallum a good scrap .
dont think its fair of me to vote though as i dont know the other guy. hope others do the same.no point voting if you dont know one of them.

I definitely dont think that Watson gave McCallum a good scrap.... i was however surprised that Watson came back after his fight with the Body Snatcher and did so well.. i remember the fight being a tough and rumble fight with Watson easily being defeated
