Gutted for GGG. As much as I wanted him to come out like a bull for 12 rounds and knock Canelo out, In reality that was never going to happen at his age and Inactivity. Props to Canelo for the win. However, his long Pro career Is definitely catching up with him. He seems slower and struggling with stamina In the later rounds. I can see some of the younger, hungry fighters picking him apart In the next 2-3 years. I don't claim to know much about how to score fights like half of you 'experts' do, but watch the fight back with no awful commentary and your see how much closer It was In the later rounds. Bivol beats Canelo again. Beterbiev puts him Into orbit. GGG, please retire as a Middleweight legend among the greats.
GGG should retire, rather than being a highlight reel for one of the young guns. Hes a HOF-er, call it a day.
At this point, a rematch with Bivol would send Canelo into orbit. Beterbiev would send him to Andromeda.
Canelo was more or less the same guy. He's always had gas issues, and Golovkin retains a decent sense of timing. Triple G himself isn't as deteriorated as some would have it, but he is worn around the edges and any fight could be one too many for him at this age.
