Pavlik makes great fghts indeed, but there's no need for a rematch.

    Pavlik/winner of joe and mikkel

It looked like after the fight that Jim Lampley was dissappointed by the outcome.

I definitely appreciate what both guys did. I was yelling at the TV all fight long. My quote of the night was something like Omg these guys are two prime athletic beasts goin at it. They go up there and do things that 99% of the world can't do.

I wonder if Taylor will push for the rematch. That kind of KO is pretty demoralizing.

imho I dont see anything that Jermain can to beat this guy. He does not know how to use his superior athletic boxing skills. I was screaming the whole fight get off the ****ing ropes

Even more demoralizing is that, after devastating Kelly in the 2nd round (Kelly was almost on the verge of doing the chicken dance), Kelly came back the next round and threw 99 punches and was still backing JT up.

Big props to Taylor for stepping up and taking that match during an era when most champions don't face the best. He didn't back down and took on his true number one contender. It's rare that the two best in a division put it all on the line, but we got that tonight. It didn't disapoint. Taylor is no fraud - he was a good champion. But Pavlik is for real. He goes in the ring with the intent to destroy, and to see a true champion get knocked out by him is just a testament to his heart/power. I was getting tired of 12 round decision championship fights. This was what a championship fight should be...a war.

i had great anticipation for this fight

guess it was a fight fan fight, more than a casual fan fight
