Thurman was ahead in the cards. He ran the whole night and potshotted.

But hell if the judges are going to give you wins for it. Then **** me..... keep on doing that ****.

    Protect the 0 man.

Thurman was clearly doing more damage in most of the rounds. If you're landing the better shots, then why should the other guy get the round because he's coming forward?

I don't recall Thurman hurting him much at all tonight.

Running? Dude, logoff. This "select" group of people continue to spew ignorance.

Guys do not always show when they're hurt. If that's the criteria, there was only one round where either guy looked visibly shaken up. So what do you do when neither guy gives a visible sign that they're hurt? It would only seem to make sense to me to judge the round for the guy landing the cleaner shots.

What is running in boxing? Boxing off your back feet because you're afraid to engage. Then when you do engage it's a potshot here and there without really showing the intention to hurt your opponent.

    That looked like Thurman tonight.

Judging by the OP's post... looks like he had Collazo winning.

Thurman was running in there. He even turned his back a couple of times. None the less, he was landing the better shots.

That's your problem right there. You think everyone is afraid. You mistake strategy with fear. God forbid you ever become a trainer or a boxer.

The time(s) he turned his back, THAT's running. He couldn't get himself in position so he tried to create space to reset. That's not fear.

If I concede he's not afraid then we'll go with its strategy.

    So...

Thurmans strategy tonight was to avoid any type of confrontation. To box off his back feet and avoid pinishment. Then potshot, but never show willingness to actually attempt to hurt your opponent.

Maybe he wasn't afraid. Maybe it's strategy. But guys are gonna potshot and keep doing it if judges give them wins.

I don't think he was afraid at all, but he used a lot of movement out there. I don't think I've seen a power puncher move as much as he does. I don't think he's comfortable fighting on the inside.

By the way I've sparred before and I always came at my partner. I just always thought that was the point. Amateur boxing not so much but pro boxing yea. The goal is to hit them as fricking hard as you can.
