    Its not amateur boxing man. If it was amateur boxing then Pernell badly out points DLH.

    But it's pro boxing and the name of the game is to hurt.

    So they are supposed to stand there when someone comes to them and engage? THROW ALL THE TRAINING OUT OF THE WINDOW. Screw the game plan and brawl?

    Thanks for the post.

    Potshotting like you imply is rampant because judges score fights far too often in favor of the potshotters.

    Don't know how Leonard potshotted against Hagler. Yes Leonard moved and slipped. But he threw combinations and tried to take Hagler's soul from his body.

    Some guys just can't "hurt" others though. With that said, Thurman could hurt Collazo, but couldn't do so with getting into harm's way himself.

    Exactly. He wasn't confident on his abilities that he could throw some hard punches without getting tagged himself.
