Guys from 147-160 that can beat Paul "The Punisher" Williams?

At 147...Margarito and Cotto have a chance. Mayweather also, if he comes back.

At 154...no one.

At 160...Pavlik, Abraham and Sturm.

 

I believe Margarito would beat him at 147, no-one beats him at 154, Abraham, Pavlik, Wright and possibly Sturm beat him at 160.

If I were him I'd stay at 154 and become a dominant long-standing champion there like B-Hop was at middleweight. Williams can be a superstar IMO.

 

This is one thing I like about Williams; that it's legitimate to think he can compete with the best at 3 different weight classes simultaneously.

The thread asks who can beat Paul Williams, not who "would" beat him. All the guys I listed have the attributes to get the job done against Williams, but whether they are successful or not is a different story.

Lets not also forget that Martinez losing to Margarito happened a long time ago.

Of course Williams can score a KO, but if Martinez looks as good as he has looked lately, it would be a very interesting fight.

It was a long time ago and Martinez recently looked spectacular on BAD. I'm all for seeing this fight get made.

 

Even i laughed then, and i love all of them. John Duddy would get a massive cut, Jennings wont beat Cotto so his career isnt going anywhere fast, Rhodes is probably the only one that stands out from the list you made and he would still demolish him.
