    you dont need 'connections'

you just need common sense and good management.

i'm pleased you called the fight off.

also, don't assume that the army keeps your boy in shape. fitness training isnt the same 100% as training for a fight.

alright guys, help me out here......

    i'm not understanding this.....
last week when josh said he would fight, supposedly coach signed the contracts and sent them away and the promoter (roberto durans daughter) then bought 2 tickets and booked the hotel rooms........well, when me and josh decided not to take the fight, coach told us that ms. duran told him she is gonna suspend josh's license if we dont pay her back the money she spent on the tickets.....i told coach, can't we just postpone the fight until he prepares himself better (on friday he sparred a 190lb paez jr and hurt his hand a bit) and his hand heels......he said that she told him no

anyways, we had a biggo argument/meeting and everything was cool after that.....the next day coach talked to ms. duran and she told him that if we pay her 1,100 dollars by today at 10, she will get him a fight in miami against the same guy....but that we had to pay her or else she's gonna suspend josh's license......now josh and i are confused cause he himself never signed anything.....we want this fight bad now but we're pretty confused about the whole situation......is she trying to burn our coach, and can she really suspend his license ?????

You better see an attorney who knows boxing, or at least sports in general.

Yes, it does. A promoter cannot suspend a fighters license, but there may be a way for her to cause trouble with the FLA commision.
