I think that most of the top guys at this weight would beat Floyd which is no shame as it is arguably the deepest division in boxing history. I believe that Floyd matches up better with the ATG's from 130-140 as i believe these were his best weights and i would only pick a select few to beat him there.

I believe most of the top welters in history would be two much for Floyd. His style of sitting back and trying to diffuse an opponents attack would not work against Hearns, Leonard, Duran etc. I respect Floyd as a great fighter but am utterly frustrated at his decision to always avoid real challenges at welter. If we had seen him defeat Mosley, Williams or Cotto he could be viewed differantly. Instead we got Hatton and Marquez. Both unproven at welter. Also, De la hoya was far past his best and Baldomir was stylisticaly made for him.

Leonard, Napoles, Robinson, Duran, Prime Oscar DLH, and Pernell Whitaker, and Mosley would.

However, I would have loved to see a PBF vs F Vargas fight....

Yeah Hearns would have been basically the worst matchup for Floyd.
