Hearn himself concedes the fight can make more money in Vegas.

His quotes on the matter are directly above.

All they have to do is figure out a way to have both fight and display their skills and see where they land. That's a scary thought for Joshua fans lmao.

hearn quoted las vegas for the second proposed klitchko fight because i presume klitchko stated he wanted a different venue than the uk as joshua had home advantage in the first / hearn refused a ukraine /german venue (guess)leaving only the usa and with las vegas offering promoters not only a free venue but 6 million sweetners its a no brainer as a venue.

but as a spectacle and venue its in the middle of a desert in the middle of nowhere .

Your last sentence while technically true is dubious because if you've ever been to Vegas, there's too much going on to worrry about it being in the middle of the desert lol...

Much higher than any gate wilder has ever had?
It's no good quoting what fighters have made in vegas, if wilder could sell there and be ppv he'd have already done it. The truth is that he could not sell out his last fight could he? So why would he be different in vegas?

i read brighton bomber say 8 million i think from memory not much more than what vegas will actually pay to host a fight like that without a single ticket sale

but for me its also about the spectacle.

    an anology
15000 fan venue for a superbowl would allow you to charge what you want for tickets as the demand for tickets would be vast but as a spectacle IMO it would not have the same impact and anticipation.

been watching boxing a long time /boxing as a spectator sport has gone rapidly downhill in my lifetime / if a boxer can sell huge stadiums it can only be good for the sport we love .

MSG WAS the venue and even undercard fights were in front of full crowds now with vegas dominant the undercards are 1 man and there dogs with everybody only coming out for the main event / stadiums really showcase boxing more .

It basically comes down to what you like. You like the spectacle of it. To each his own. I don't care where they fight. I've been to big fights. They're all the same to me. I'm always asking where can I get a good drink and where are the ladies hanging out at lol...
