Why can't Floyd fight someone smaller than him? Leonard did it, Hearns did it, Hagler did it, Monzon did it. Floyd fights Hatton at 147 after Hatton challenges Floyd. Floyd comes back, and does not even have JMM on his mind, and is challenged by JMM. Two fights, yet Floyd is called some cherry picking little guy fighting coward lol...

Now PAc has been fighting so-called bigger men yet, who was actually bigger than him, and in their prime? Cotto and PAc looked almost the same size eighing in at 145. Dlh was taller than Pac, but looked very thin in the ring against Pac. Morales was actually the only fighter who looked bigger than PAc. Ok, make a case for Cotto, but if you look at the pics, and see them in the ring, does PAc look small?

Hypocrites are ok with Castillo fighting Floyd Castillo, Hatton fighting Castillo, Hagler fighting Sugar, Hearns and Duran, and Monzon fighting Griffith and Napoles, Pryor fighting Arguello to name a few, but not ok with Floyd fighting JMM:lol:. You make me sick. You guys are hypocrites for even uttering your thoughts on Floyd fighting Hatton and JMM. Floyd fought 1 little guy who wanted to fight him... who happened to be pfp top 5, and all you can talk about is the 2 lbs PAc was over, yet those same 2 lbs did not affect Cotto with your blind love for Pac.

Day after day it is so phony to read posts from certain guys who really don't care about boxing or their opinion. It's time you say **** the catchweight thought, and tell your hero Dapidran to fight Floyd at 147. The thrill of watching a little guy beat a bigger guys is exciting to watch. To watch someone get beat down because they agee to a catchweight is not exciting to watch!

All of those other fights that you mentioned were in demand fights. The fans wanted to see thema and the guy fighting the smaller man coming up had pretty much exhausted options in his own weight class.

JMM vs Floyd was a joke of a fight. Prior to it being announced we had threads every day about who we'd like to see Floyd fight and not one person ever said Marquez. The fight was marketed well and they shined up the turd really nice but we all knew going in that it would be a complete wipeout. Not to mention that there were other fights that people would have prefered to see Floyd fight at 147.

The JMM called floyd out argument is garbage IMO. Lots of guys call him out. When you are the top dog that's what happens. Imagine if Oscar had fought all the clowns that called him out. his record would be like 100-10-3 right now. Being called out by a clearly inferior fighter is not an excuse for not fighting the clearly better options that are also calling you out and that the fans are demanding.

You list Hatton, Monzon and Hagler. The difference....

They all beat the top fighters natural to their weight as well as greats from lower weights. I'm a big Floyd fan, but he hasn't beat 1 A level WW yet. Would you agree???

I agree 100% with Pac vs Money needs to be at 147. No more Catch weight i'm with you on that.

As far as Floyd fighting Marquez, my problem with that is the rediculous jump in weight Marquez had to make at this stage of his career and Floyd is going to tell us how dangerous of a fight it is. Did Floyd have you fooled? I didn't by that crap. Floyd fought the best in his lower weight classes but I feel he hasn't proven himself at WW and the Marquez fight ain't prove ****. really it didn't, only that Floyd still gots his skills nice and sharp.

Pac proved he can deal with a WW, and that question about the 2 extra pounds is said to of had made no differance in the outcome. so then Pac should fight at 147 and honor the weightclasses of the sport.

If floyd beat all the top Welters and unified the division, he can then fight "smaller" men without getting to much crap about it. cuz at least he took care of his division and truely conquered it. see the differance?

3 in a row. When they had serious threats in their own respective weights dangling around for years. Yes they would and Leonard would have gotten it the worse.

    Nallege....Just Like I told BigReg:

COMMON SENSE, LOGIC & FACTS WILL ONLY CONFUSE PEOPLE WITH "NO CLUE".

Your Argument is TOO PRECISE, TOO WELL WRITTEN AND FAR TOO INSIGHTFUL to be understood or considered valid in ESB.

Next time you may want to use some insults, some F-Bombs, a few Racial Slurs and a total EXAGGERATION OF THE FACTS to be taken seriously in ESB.

Because it's all they'll respond to or believe.

But for the record....DAMN GOOD THREAD...RIGHT-ON POINT!!!

Let it go, bruh. As long as PBF is the 'smaller' guy, it's all gravy.

These same folks bitching about PBF and his 'smaller' opponents are the same ones who creamed themsleves at night at the thought of a 160 welterweight Margarito beating the 'smaller' PBF.

Hatton was sent back down to 140 by Collazo when they fought at 147...freaking Collazo. At the time everyone claimed Floyd wasnt a natural WW, he was really a 140lb fighter. After all that you would think the fight would take place at 140lb then...since their both naturally 140lb fighters. Why then did the fight take place at 147lb?

Hint: check out my first sentence.
