I agree with him if you don't have power you have to find other ways for people to watch you like being a loud and controversial.

Naseem was kind of an exception. But then Barrera's stern, stoic beatdown was glorious.

But yes. I've noticed a lot of guys who cannot punch have to be annoying to attract fans.

Mayweather walked guys like Mosley and Canelo down and made Pacquiao tentative as hell and almost stopped Cotto for example so I wouldn't say he can't punch for ****. I do agree that he has build some dumb circus tent of a WWE persona because he doesn't need to be very exciting in the ring if the other guy can't stop him coasting on points. One reason he wins because he hits hard enough to prevent the other guy rushing him unless you're called Marcos Maidana or Jose Luis Castillo who honestly gave no fu*** what was coming back, but they rarely have done in any fight.

I actually don't really blame them because that's the only way people would notice them

He did have Cotto on wobbly legs in the last round. I think from an uppercut.

What I love with Floyd fans is that even if we're not talking about Mayweather and even if the thread is not even about him, they feel attacked and they feel the need to defend him. That must be hiding some truth that even them knows deep down inside.
