The only chance of beating SRR would be at middleweight. At his best no one beats him as a welterweight. Middleweights that could possibly do it?

    Ketchel
    Walker
    Greb
    Monzon
    Hagler
    SRL
    Hearns
    Hopkins

Again this is a list of those who could possibly beat SRR as a middleweight. At his best SRR would be the favorite over each of these fighters.

Anyone who posts flippantly and without deep thought that any welterweight of the modern era would whip Ray Robinson is utterly wrong...I SAW him several times as a WW ringside, once when he absolutely "toyed" with his idol Henry Armstrong in 1943. Though a fading fighter Armstrong still beat a good amount of good fighters after...Robbie was far away the best WW I ever saw.
Followed by Kid Gavilan, Basillio, Billy Graham, and 2 truly great WWS Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns...But the great SRR beats them all as a WW...

SRR, great as he was at WW, would not be a favorite over Harry Greb, both at their bests at middleweight...
