What's the deal with Guzman never making weight? Why bother fighting in a lower division if you never plan on making the weight?!! I used to like the guy now all I see is an undisciplined could have been! Hope he comes in looking like Damon Wayans in Great white hype! :yep

    I dont know.

As a fan of the sport of boxing its really embarrassing that he is still getting fights. It was rumored that he had a good chance of being Khan's next opponent in the UK but that is thrown out the window now. I wont be surprised if GBP release him from his contract.

Pretty sad. Edwin valero and Juan Guzman should be the next big thing in boxing. But ended up becoming the black eye. I remember when people saying Manny duck Guzman. If guzman would have just sayed relavent. He probably could have pressured the fans to put him in with the pacmonster. and who know. Might have won, or even getting a UD loss would have done wonder for his career. If Valero isn't a murdering *****, I have no doubt we see him fighting pacquaio next.

    Yea right LOL...if he's at 147 than he'll come in at 150+. If he's at 154 than he'll come in at 157+.

Pacquiao/Guzman was a lot closer to being made than people thought.

As for Valero, if had still been alive there is no doubt he would of got his chance last month instead of Margarito.

I can't understand how a former super bantamweight has any trouble making 135 let alone 140. He's obviously lazy and not dedicated to the sport, he's irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.

didn't his opponent also not make weight?

It doesn't matter, his 0 is more important than whatever weight he fights at.
