Even if he wins he won't get the credit he deserves, the overweight talks will always be there and for good reason.
Personally, to me it would have been more stupid to try - which he may have done. It would have been better to not strain himself. Why risk losing a shot at the titles, and the fight itself by killing yourself to lose that quickly? Hopefully he just went back to his room and relaxed.
Jorge Rodrigo Barrios 131½ 46-2-1 MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States W SD 12 12 ~ referee: Vic Drakulich | judge: Carol Castellano 114-113 | judge: Bill Graham 113-114 | judge: William Lerch 115-112 ~ ~ WBO super featherweight title ~ I did. And I remembered it correctly it would seem :deal
:nono Arthur has bigger fish to fry than Guzman, a possible rematch with world champion Nicky Cook Guzman stuffed up big time, how can you move up in weight and come in 3.5lbs over in the biggest fight of your life, idiot!!!!
**** this ****! Now Campbell has to risk losing all his titles against someone who is 3 ****ing pounds overweight and will probably come into the fight at over 150! what a joke! Guzman move up to your proper weight class
man F$%#$% that! this is a F&^%# PPV and we want blood, sweat, tears and title defenses! anything less... tell'em Lennox "it's just un-civilized".:fire
Why delay the inevitable? Campbell by UD or KO. If it goes 12 I Campbell will sweep the last 3 or 4 rounds.
Who knows what actually happened and why.. I'm just ****ing pissed off about the whole situation. Once again, something bad happens to Guzman. These three titles would make him the man in the division. Now if he wins, so what? Fighters will be more inclined to avoid him and he'll be stuck fighting Katsidis or something like that. ****.. ****ing sucks.
If I'm such a sloth that a didn't care enough to even come close to making the weight I might be so relaxed I'd go back to my room and order a large pizza and wash it down with a 2 liter of Coke.
